..am i doing something wrong?

okay so im 21
single
childless

...is there a problem??!
ALL of my cousins have kids. while they're yelling at their babies.. im the one playin with them. they dont take me serious. its like im still a child in their eyes since i am kidless. my 27 y/o cousin tells me i'll have one by next year. wdf? no offense to those with kids but is waiting to have kids some taboo? in order for us to fit in must a whining child be attached to our hips?

I have the same problem with my family. I think I prefer the childless route any day!

They only want u to have kids because they want you to be equal to them. in a sense ppl w/o kids have a sense of power bc they can do what they want when they want to. so if u have kids u'll be like them. needing to find a babysitter and leaving early or going straight home and boring stuff like that. dont have kids!!! read some lither reconsider!!!!!!!!

AMEN!
all of my best friends are pregnant, or have just given birth and i've slowly started to feel as if i am the outcast. however, i soon realized that i don't want a belly underneath my graduation gown. having no kids right now..is fine with me. :-)

Amen! I thought I was the only one feeling this way. I am 24 years old and I will turn 25 in December. I have always wanted to wait until I get married to have kids. Damn I mean I have dreams and aspirations and although I adore kids and they are a blessing from God they just don't fit in the equation right now. I want to have kids one day just not TODAY!By the way love the blog!!
